Lauren Levy of the New Orleans volleyball program is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Named to an all-tournament team for the second week in a row, Levy continues to garner recognition from opposing coaches as she plays a vital role in the UNO defense.

This past week, Levy totaled 52 digs over four matches and 14 sets. The resulting 3.71 digs per frame was the most on the UNO roster for the week with Levy's 21 digs against Louisiana Tech representing the most for the sophomore since totaling 22 digs in a match at Southern on Oct. 10, 2012.

In addition to her defensive exploits, Levy had a team-leading five service aces for the week and was responsible for 12 assists. The former Archbishop Chapelle product had five assists in the match against LTU, her best since totaling nine against Mississippi Valley State on Aug. 31, 2012.
