NEW ORLEANS - University of New Orleans broadcaster Mike Wagenheim
opened his audio library and shared five memorable calls from the
2007-08 basketball and baseball seasons.
Privateer
fans now will have an opportunity to relive the T.J Worley
three-pointer to give UNO a stunning victory over #21 ranked North
Carolina State, the Josh Vander Hey
home run in the top of the 10th inning to give UNO a win over Troy in
the Sun Belt tournament and three other "instant classics" from last year.

McCalebb sets the Sun Belt career scoring record with a free throw at
North Texas in the middle of 23-point performance that helped give UNO
a 83-61 win over the host Mean Green.
Mar. 4, 2008
Tom Walter and his club made their first trip of the season to Turchin Stadium. With David Burch
in a bases-loaded jam in the ninth inning with the Privateers clinging
to a 4-2 lead over Tulane, Andrew Rodgers sent a 2-2 slider from Burch
to the left field warning track where Joey Butler made a play to give UNO the thrilling win.
May 22, 2008
UNO and Troy were unable to complete their Sun Belt conference tournament contest on May 21 and continued to the next morning. Ryan O'Shea
faced the bases loaded and one out in the ninth inning in a tied
ballgame against a Trojan team fighting for its season. O'Shea would
get out of the jam giving the Privateers a chance in extra innings.
Vander Hey, the senior catcher, capitalized on the opportunity, hitting
a solo home run as UNO advanced with a 7-6 win over Troy.
