Houston - The University of New Orleans volleyball team closed the regular season with a loss on the road to Houston Baptist in straight sets, 3-0 (25-20, 25-15, 25-22), Thursday night in Houston. New Orleans ends the regular season 12-16 overall and,6-10 in Southland Conference play. Houston Baptist stands at 19-9 and 10-5 in conference.
FIRST SET
HBU started quickly jumping out to a 4-0 lead. The Privateers came back to take the lead at 15-14, however the Huskies would take the set 25-20. Both clubs had frigid hitting percentages, UNO .059 and HBU .116.
Rondolyn Bryant had 4 kills and
Sarah Thomas 7 assists for New Orleans.
SECOND SET
There was one tie in the set (6-6) but Houston Baptist controlled throughout. The Privateers had a hitting percentage of .062 after the second set.
Andrea Nava and
Blessing Dunn had 15 and 10 digs respectively after two sets. Houston Baptist wins 25-15.
THIRD SET
The Privateers led 17-12 but the Huskies came back to tie it at 21 on a Bailey Banks service ace. Two New Orleans errors and kills by Banks and Mikayla Vivens wrapped up the third and final set for Houston Baptist 25-22.

Sarah Thomas had 23 assists and
Kaitlyn Grice supplied 7 total blocks. Sophomore
Andrea Nava had 16 digs.
