CONWAY, Ark. – The Privateers collected 7.0 team blocks in Saturday's 3-0 loss to Central Arkansas (19-5, 9-2 Southland) in the Prince Center.
Brianna Vega finished with eight kills in the University of New Orleans' (10-16, 4-7 Southland) 25-12, 25-23, 25-23 loss.
Kyra Hunter finished with nine kills and pair of blocks.
Kaitlyn Grice added seven kills and three blocks.
SET ONE
Central Arkansas was dominate early in the set getting out to an 8-2 lead, but the Privateers would battle back to make it a 14-7 deficit. But that is as close UNO could get as UCA to set one 25-12
SET TWO
Set two was very tightly contested in the early going as either team could gain an edge. UCA did get out to a 13-10 lead but UNO quickly erased that lead tying things at 16 all. From there the teams traded points, but UCA scored the final two points and took set two 25-23.
SET THREE
The Privateers trailed 5-0 before a kill by Hunter.

The Privateers return to the friendly confines of the Human Performance Center as they take on the University of Incarnate Word in the annual Trick or Treat in the HPC Saturday, October 27 at 1 p.m.
