TAMPA, Fla. –
Blessing Dunn recorded her fourth double-double of the season, but it was not enough as the University of New Orleans (6-7) fell to Charlotte (8-5) in game one 25-23, 21-25, 18-25, 25-17, 15-5 and South Florida (10-1) in game two 13-25, 15-25, 22-25 Saturday afternoon at the Yuengling Center.

SET ONE
The Privateers set the tone early in the first set getting out to a 6-4 lead. Later in the set UNO extended its lead to 23-18, and eventually took the set 25-23. Dunn and
Kaitlyn Grice finished with four kills apiece and
Sarah Thomas dished out 15 assists.
SET TWO
New Orleans jumped out to a commanding 6-3 lead early on in the set, but the 49ers got things clicking opening up a 20-15 in the latter half of the set. And eventually went on to take the set 25-21.
SET THREE
The middle set was a back-and-forth battle, but Charlotte went on a 9-2 run to take the set 25-18.
SET FOUR
Looking to stay alive in the match the Privateers battled till the midpoint of the set and went on an 8-0 run to push the score to 21-13. and eventually, sent the match to a fifth set with a 25-17 set four win. In the set,
Lane Hindenburg and Dunn had a pair of kills and Grice and
Ehize Omoghibo each had a kill.
SET FIVE
Charlotte lead by as much as three in the set, but UNO could not get any closer than that as they dropped the final set 15-5.
INSIDE THE BOX
Dunn recorded a double-double with 12 kills and 12 digs. Omoghibo finished the match with 10 kills. Grice added nine kills, four blocks, and three service aces in the match. Thomas finished the match with 41 assists.
New Orleans v USF
SET ONE
South Florida opened up a 10-6 early, and that is as close as the Privateers would get as USF pulled away late in the set and won 25-13
SET TWO
New Orleans led 6-2 early in the stanza and the teams traded the lead four times before a USF kill and a service ace gave the Bulls a 2-0 advantage and 25-22 win.
SET THREE
South Florida clinched the win with a 25-22 third set win. Grice finished the set with a pair of kills and a service ace.
INSIDE THE BOX
Grice finished with eight kills, two blocks, and a service ace. Dunn added six kills and a pair of service aces.
Nikkia Benitez led all players with 15 kills and Jac'cara Walker added nine. The Bulls hit .356 in the win.
