MEMPHIS – Troy Green finished 11-of-12 from the free throw line and a career-high 22 points, and
Ahren Freeman's emphatic dunk in the second half capped his first collegiate start in Saturday's 97-55 setback to No. 9/10 Memphis (11-1) over New Orleans (4-8) at FedExForum.
Green added five rebounds, three steals and three assists, and Freeman posted nine points, six rebounds and three steals.
Bryson Robinson reached double figures for the 14
th consecutive time with 15 points and seven boards.
Jaylen Key swatted away two shots.
FIRST HALF
Robinson posted 11 first-half points and Green followed with nine. Memphis was balanced with 10 student-athletes scoring to take a 51-24 lead into the break. The Privateers continued to shoot the ball well from the line, going 10-of-12 (Robinson and Green were each 5-of-6).

SECOND HALF
Green scored 13 in the second with six coming from the line and all nine of Freeman's points came in the second stanza.

Memphis shot 52.4 percent from the field, 52.2 percent from three-point range and hit 19-of-23 from the line. Precious Achiuwa led the Tigers with 18 points and 10 rebounds and four others reached double figures. New Orleans knocked down 20 of its 27 attempts from the line.
