JACKSONVILLE, Fla.
Damion Rosser went for a career-high 23 points and Troy Green added 24 but the New Orleans Privateers (1-5) fell on the short end of a 77-70 decision to the Jacksonville Dolphins (5-2) to conclude the BSN Dolphin Classic.

HIGHLIGHT REEL
- Rosser's windmill dunk off a steal also gave him a career high in field goals made in a game. He wound up 11-for-16 from the floor.

ALL-TOURNAMENT TEAM
- Green was named to the BSN Dolphin Classic All-Tournament Team after averaging 25.3 points on 62.8 percent shooting and 8.0 rebounds. Green went 20-of-24 from the charity stripe and posted his first career double-double on Tuesday in the win over Florida National. Yesterday, Green became the 24th member of the 1,000 point club in his 100th game as a Privateer.

MOVIN' ON UP
- Green's point total on the day moved him into 20th place on the Privateers' all-time scoring list. He currently stands at 1,050 points. Next on the list is Mike Edwards (1,108 career points). He also moved into sixth all-time in career free throws made with 304.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jacksonville connected on 3-of-5 triples within the first five minutes of the contest to build a 15-8 lead.
- After facing a deficit as large as 13, the Privateers outscored the Dolphins 15-6 to end the first 20 minutes. They went to the half trailing 37-33.
- The Privateers held the Dolphins without a point over the final 3:16 of the opening stanza. In that span, Jacksonville went 0-for-4 from the field with one turnover and missed two free throws.
- New Orleans cut the Dolphins lead to as little as three in the second half and were down five inside the final minute. But Dontarrius James hit a three-pointer with 24 seconds left to help seal the Dolphins' win. James was one of four Dolphins in double figures with a game-best 25 points.

NOTABLES
- Prior to this contest, the last time two Privateers went for 20-plus points in a game was Feb. 22, 2020 against McNeese (Green and Bryson Robinson).
- Ahren Freeman went a perfect 5-for-5 from the field with 10 points, six rebounds, and two assists in 22 minutes.
- Derek St. Hilaire got his first start as a Privateer and logged a season-high 34 minutes.
- 11 of the first 13 made baskets by the Privateers were in the paint. The Privateers outscored the Dolphins 50-30 in the paint on the game.
- New Orleans shot over 50 percent for the second time this week as they connected on 50.9 percent of their shots. The Privateers shot 52.5 percent against Florida National on Tuesday.
