NEW ORLEANS – In their first game since Jan. 30, the New Orleans Privateers had four reach double figures but could not hold a halftime lead in an 89-79 loss to the Stephen F. Austin Lumberjacks on Monday afternoon at the Lakefront Arena.

Troy Green led the way in scoring for the Privateers with 20 on 6-of-9 from the field in 37 minutes logged.
Rodney Carson Jr. followed with 16 points and tied a team high with three assists.
Damion Rosser and
Derek St. Hilaire notched 14 and 11 points respectively as the Privateers shot 50 percent from the field.
HOW IT HAPPENED
-With his 20-point effort, Green passed Sam Jones for 16
th on the Privateers all-time scoring list. Green currently has 1,191 points and is eight away from tying Ardith Wearren for 15
th on the program list.
-The deciding run came with just under 12 minutes remaining. The Lumberjacks surged ahead with a 12-0 run after falling behind by as many as eight points in the second half.
-After New Orleans wrestled the lead away at the 6:39 mark of the opening half, they kept it through to the halftime locker room.
-Both teams shot very efficiently in the opening 20. The Lumberjacks hit at a 53.1 percent clip while the Privateers connected on 52.2 percent of their attempts.
-Green had 11 of his points in the first half in 17 minutes of play.
-St. Hilaire has scored in double figures in four consecutive games. The contest also marked his eighth double digit scoring output of the season.
