Biography
Career Notes: Two-year letterman has played in 14 events and 38 rounds during his career to date…averaging 79.211 strokes per round with a low of 70 during the second round of the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate on Oct. 19, 2015…best finish to date was a tie for 18th at the Atchafalaya Intercollegiate from Feb. 23-24, 2015.
2015-16: Played in six tournaments as a sophomore…averaged 79.313 strokes per 18 holes with a career-low 70 en route to a career-best, eight-over-par 224 (77-70-77) at the F&M Bank APSU Intercollegiate from Oct. 19-20…best finish of the season was a tie for 36th at the rain-shortened Atchafalaya Invitational when he fired a four over par 76 on Feb. 21...away from the course, was a member of the Southland Conference Commissioner’s Honor Roll and UNO’s 3.0 Club.
2014-15: Saw action in eight tournaments as a true freshman…averaged 79.136 strokes per 18 holes with a season-best 73 in the second round of the Jim Rivers Intercollegiate on Oct. 20, in the third round of the ULM Wallace Jones Invitational on March 24 and in the opening round of the Southland Conference Championship on April 20…best finish was a tie for 18th at the Atchafalaya Invitational when he fired a plus-22 238 (85-76-77) from Feb. 23-24…fired a season-best 229 (78-74-77) at the A-State Red Wolves Intercollegiate from April 4-5.
High School: Attended Bom Jesus Nossa Senhora de Lourdes but did not play varsity golf as the school did not sponsor athletics…was a member of the Federação Paranaense de Golfe, winning five events during his time with the organization and concluding the 2014 campaign as the top ranked Brazilian Junior…in 2012, claimed medalist honors in the first and third stages of the HSBC National Youth Golf Tour, including a 139 (68-71) in the latter…won the second and third stages of the 2013 HSBC National Youth Golf Tour with respective scores of 228 (78-75-75) and a 214 (77-67-70)…took home the title at the 10th Winter Youth Championship of the State of São Paulo with a 217 (75/70/72) from Aug. 1-2, 2014…at the 2013 Callaway World Junior Championship, finished tied for 37th with a 299 (77-78-69-75)…selected to participate at the Junior Open in England from July 16-21, 2012, the Montevideo Open City Championship in Uruguay from Dec. 5-8, 2013, and the 46th South American Youth Championship as part of Team Brazil.
Personal: Born Homero de Toledo Sobrinho on June 3, 1996, in Curitiba, Paraná, Brazil…son of Ulisses, Sr., and Adriana de Toledo…has one brother, Ulisses, Jr., who is currently a member of the Lenoir Rhyne University golf team…majoring in civil engineering.
