SENIOR SEASON (2013)
Made 19 appearances and 10 starts for Privateers... Went 1-8 with two saves and a 6.26 ERA... Picked up lone win of the season with 2.2 innings of scoreless relief out of bullpen vs. Alcorn State (Mar. 12)... Picked up first save with five innings of relief in a win at Tulane (Mar. 19), scattering five hits and allowing single run in 5-4 victory... Second save with a scoreless frame and three strikeout vs Jackson State (Apr. 2)... Season long eight innings vs. Georgia State (Apr. 12), exiting with game tied at 3-all... Also threw seven innings twice, once at West Virginia (Mar. 30) and again vs LSU Alexandria (Apr. 27).


JUNIOR SEASON (2012)
Posted 4-4 record with a 4.06 ERA... Started 12 games, appearing in six out of bullpen for 18 total appearances... Led team in innings pitched (68.2) and opponent batting average (.251) amongst starts... Picked up first win at UNO against LSU-Alexandria (2/25)... Season-best performance of allowing a run on three hits in win against West Georgia (3/24)... Also went eight innings in win over Delta State (4/14), allowing two runs on six hits... Finished season with one run on five hits for victory against Tougaloo (4/27) after throwing five innings.

DELGADO
In 2011, went 1-3 with a 5.80 ERA... Appeared in 12 games, pitching 49.2 innings, allowing 37 runs - 32 earned - on 45 hits, while striking out 57 and walking 38... In 2010, posted a 3-5 record with a 8.93 ERA... Appeared in 12 games, pitching 42.1 innings, allowing 50 runs - 42 earned - on 43 hits with 42 strikeouts and 36 walks.

HIGH SCHOOL
Pitched and played football at John Curtis... On the baseball team, we a two-time all-district selection and all-metro selection... As a kicker, was a three-time all-district selection, two-time all-metro selection and a one-time all-State selection... Member of four-time state champions.

PERSONAL
Born Stone Michael Speer on June 10, 1991...  Parents, Oscar and Sandy Speer... Siblings, Colt and Hunter... Dad was a kicker for Louisiana-Lafayette while also playing on the Dallas Cowboys... Brother Colt Speer played running back for Nicholls State and the New Orleans Saints... Interdisciplinary Studies Major.
