JUNIOR SEASON (2013)
Started all 51 games for UNO, playing each inning of the season at first base... Hit .244, going 47-for-193 with 16 runs, 22 RBIs, 12 doubles, two triples and two home runs... Made first UNO appearance with 0-for-5 showing vs Southeast Missouri (Feb. 15)... Had back-to-back three hit games vs South Alabama during doubleheader on Feb. 24... Only player with  multiple three-hit games for UNO... Team-leader with 11 multi-hit games...  Also was one of team leaders with multi-RBI games... Season-long five-game hitting streak... Teamed with Zach Liberto and Zach Pohto to turn a triple play against Oklahoma on Apr. 20.

JUNIOR COLLEGE
Went to LSU-Eunice and was coached by Jeff Willis... was a member of the 2012 LSU-Eunice JUCO national championship team... In 2012, hit .347 with 34 hits, 29 runs and 27 RBIs in 62 games.. Solid defensive player with 193 putouts, 14 assists and just two errors for a .990 field percentage... As a freshman, hit .330 with 10 doubles, 33 runs and 37 RBIs in 55 games...Fielding percentage was .995 after 389 putouts, 28 assists and just two errors.

HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Northlake Christian School in Covington, La. under the direction of Rowland Skinner... Earned all-State honors in 2008, 2009 and 2010... Was selected to the all-District team in 2008, 2009 and 2010... Was a co-district MVP in 2010... All-Parish selection and all-Metro pick in 2008, 2009 and 2010... Was a member of a state championship team in 2009 and 2010... Tabbed 'Player of the Year' in 2009 and 2010... Perfect Game Honorable Mention All-American in 2009.

Born Zacary David Hawkins on April 1, 1991... Parents, Sam and Jody Hawkins... Brothers, Josh and Samuel... Mother received her masters' degree at UNO
