2012-13: Saw action in 26 games with one start as a true freshman…led the team in free throw percentage (.800) while ranking second in rebounds (124), rebounds per game (4.8) and blocked shots (15), and fourth in field goal percentage (.483) and free throws made (44) to go with 4.9 points per game…scored in double figures four times, pulled down double-digit rebounds on three occasions and completed two double-doubles, including a season-best 13 points after going a perfect 6-for-6 from the field and draining his lone free throw try to go with 10 boards vs Champion Baptist (1/26)…logged a season-best 12 rebounds in an earlier game vs Champion Baptist (1/12) and at Houston Baptist (2/25)…added season-high marks of two blocks in both games against Champion Baptist and at HBU, and two steals in the Jan. 26 contest vs CBU…had single-assist efforts vs Bethune-Cookman (11/15), vs Blue Mountain College (11/20), at Rice (1/19) and vs Champion Baptist (1/26)…played at least 15 minutes on seven occasions, including season-high at 28 minutes at Houston Baptist.
HIGH SCHOOL: Lettered as a sophomore at L.W. Higgins High for coach Marshall Jenkins before playing his final two seasons at John Ehret High for coach Al Collins…helped lead his teams to a combined 52-21 overall record with two trips to the state playoffs, including a 30-4 mark with a 10-0 District 9-5A showing while advancing to the state semifinals as a junior…earned first-team all-district honors his final two prep seasons, garnering 8-5A marks as a senior after averaging 15.6 points and 12.1 rebounds per game and picking up 9-5A distinction as a junior after averaging 12.3 points and 11.4 rebounds per outing…claimed Metro Player of the Week recognition on several occasions and was selected to play in the Jefferson vs Orleans All-Star Game as a senior…off the court, was a member of the honor roll and graduated in the Top 10 percent of his class.
