Prior to UNO: two year letterman at Pensacola State… helped the Pirates to 46 total victories… hit .298 for his career at PSC over 205 at bats in 73 games with 53 runs scored, 61 hits, 16 doubles, two triples, 12 home runs, 55 RBI, 53 walks and strikeouts and two stolen bases... hit .268 in 138 over 48 games with 37 hits, 11 doubles, one triple, nine home runs, 38 RBI, 44 walks and two stolen bases as a sophomore… played in 25 games during an injury-shortened freshman season, hitting .358 with 17 runs, five doubles, a triple, three home runs and 17 RBI.

High School: Two year letterman at Daphne high school… helped he Trojans to a 34-33 overall record and 11-10 in-region with one trip to the AHSAA State Tournament appearance… named Alabama Sports Writers Association All-State honorable mention and Coastal Alabama All-Region honorable mention as a senior… played in 30 games a senior, hitting .422 with 35 hits, 30 RBI, 10 doubles and four home runs.
