Biography

2009: Saw full-time action for first time in career and finished second on the team with a .344 average, nine home runs and 44 RBIs...Hit .313 with three home runs and 18 RBIs in SBC play...Had career-high five RBIs against Towson on Feb. 21 and had three RBIs in three different games...Had a 12-game hitting streak -- the longest of his career -- from March 21 through April 7...Was 12-for-31 with nine RBIs in season's final eight games.

2008: Was primarily used as a designated hitter or pinch hitter during the season but started five of the final six games at first base...Went 4-for-10 as a pinch hitter...Was just 3-for-21 since May 1, but two of the hits were key...Had walk-off, three-run home run in the bottom of the ninth to lead Privateers to a win over Florida Atlantic on May 4 and had a key two-run single in SBC Tournament elimination game win at Louisiana-Lafayette on May 24.

2007: Appeared in 16 games, starting five, and hit .217 with an RBI...RBI came in win over UNC-Asheville on March 4...Had a clutch double and scored a run in win over Maine on April 1.

High School: Attended Clinton High School and played both baseball and football...Was named Offensive MVP of team in 2006 and won most improved award in ’04...Played on 2005 and ’06 NABF Word Series Tournament Team.
