Keith Meier will serve as a student manager for the Privateers baseball squad in 2021. 

After redshirting in 2019 due to injury, Meier returned to the mound and made his Privateer debut on the road against Arkansas State. He threw a scoreless inning in three appearances during an abbreviated 2020 season while he allowed just one hit. Meier recorded his first strikeout as a Privateer against Alcorn State.

Prior to his time on the Lakefront, Meier pitched for Baton Rouge CC. He compiled a 5-1 record with a 3.31 ERA. He also pitched for the Acadiana Cane Cutters during the summer of 2017.

Meier attended Archbishop Shaw HS and is currently majoring in business administration at the University of New Orleans.
