Prior to UNO: Two-year letterman at Polk State, playing under head coach Al Corbeil… helped the Eagles to a combined 74-33 record, 38-16 record in FCSAA play with back-to-back trips to the conference tournament… made 38 career appearances for Polk State on the mound with nine starts, going 5-5 with a 2.51 ERA in 86.0 innings with 71 strikeouts against 27 walks… tied for sixth in the FCSAA in saves as a senior with five, posting a 3.55 ERA with a 4-3 record and 40 strikeouts in 38.0 innings over 22 appearances…. Made nine starts as a freshman and 16 appearances overall, boasting a 1.69 ERA with 31 strikeouts in 48.0 innings.
 
High School: Ranked as the 85^th-best right handed pitcher in the state of Florida by Perfect Game and a high follow nationally… was the FCSAA 6A player of the year and First-Team FCSAA State All-Star team as a senior.
