Prior to UNO: Two year letterman at Jefferson Davis Community College under head coach Darrell Blevins… helped the Warhawks to a combined 42 victories… named one of Jefferson Davis’ top returning pitchers as a sophomore by the NJCAA… finished career at JDCC with a 6-4 record with 76 strikeouts in 87.2 innings over 37 appearances with a 4.64 ERA… appeared in 18 games as a sophomore, posting a 4-2 record while logging 58.2 innings with 49 strikeouts versus 30 walks and 39 runs off 53 hits… played in 29.0 innings on the mound over 19 appearances as a freshman, fanning 27 hitters while walking 17 and posting a 5.59 ERA.
 
High School: Three year letterman at Crestview High School, playing under head coach Gillis… helped team to a cumulative 48-30 record… guided team to the FHSAA 7A Baseball State Championship as a senior and a district championship with a FHSAA 6A Baseball State Championship berth as a junior… named to Subway All-Star game as a senior.
