Prior to UNO: One-year letterman at Jefferson Davis Community College, playing under head coach Darrell Blevins… helped the Warhawks to 20 wins, 10 in Alabama Community College Conference play… named first-team All-ACCC after throwing 62 strikeouts over 64.2 innings in 14 appearances… ranked third in the conference in strikeouts… posted four wins and a save.
 
High School: Three-year letterman at Tate High School, playing under head coach Greg Blackmon… helped the Aggies to a combined 43-13 record, 14-4 in district play, with one 6A District 1 title and two trips to the FHSAA Class 6A State Tournament… selected to play in the 2013 Subway North Florida High School All-Star Game… made 16 appearances on the mound for Tate High School, going 13-3 with 108 strikeouts and 24 walks in 85.1 innings while allowing 47 runs, 20 earned, for a 0.98 ERA… went 8-2 as a senior with 83 strikeouts in 52.1 innings while allowing seven earned runs for a 0.94 ERA… went 5-1 as a sophomore with five earned runs in 33.0 innings for a 1.06 ERA while striking out 25 batters and holding the opposition to a .150 batting average.
