Prior to UNO: One-year letterman at Northwest Florida State, playing under head coach Doug Martin… helped Raiders to a 42-13 overall record, 12-7 in FCSAA play, winning the NJCAA 2015 World Series… made 14 appearances with one start, going 1-0 on the mound with 13 strikeouts in 13.0 innings while allowing two runs off four hits for a 1.38 ERA… Was at Ole Miss as a freshman.
 
High School: Three-year letterman at Calvary Baptist Academy, playing under head coaches and Rodney Traweek Todd Walker… helped the Cavaliers to a 70-30 overall record, 21-5 in district play, with three-consecutive trips to the LHSAA Class 2A State Championship game claiming the title as a junior… named All-State, All-City and All-District three times while claiming LHSAA Class 2A State Tournament MVP as a junior… earned Southeast All-Region first team and Honorable Mention All-American from Perfect Game as a senior, Underclass second team as a junior and third team as a sophomore… ranked as the top right-handed pitcher in Louisiana’s class of 2013, sixth-overall in the state and the 104^th-best right-handed pitcher in the national class… also a two-year letterman for football at Calvary Baptist, earning All-District accolades both season.
