Biography
o 2007-08: Was kept on by head coach Joe Pasternack and responded by playing in all 32 games (starting 14)...Averaged 1.9 points, 2.3 rebounds in 15 minutes per game...Started six straight games from Jan. 17-Feb. 2...Tied his career high with 10 rebounds to help UNO rally for overtime victory at Middle Tennessee on Jan. 19...Had five points four different times (UNO was 4-1 in those games)...Was 5-for-13 (38 percent) from 3-point range.
o 2006-07: Season was cut short due to a stress fracture in foot...Appeared in six games and averaged 2.7 points per game...Had season-high eight points at Tulane on Nov. 14 and had season-best seven rebounds in win over Jacksonville State on Nov. 10...Was 6-for-6 from free-throw line.
o 2005-06: One of just four players to see action in all 29 games...Has played in 59 straight games for the Privateers, starting 21 overall...Started 13 contests in 2005-06 and averaged 4.7 points and 4.1 boards per contest...Led UNO in rebounding four times, including career-high-tying 10 in loss to Florida International on Jan. 19...Also led team in free-throw shooting, sinking 24 of 28 from line (85.7 percent).
o2004-05: Saw action in all 30 games and made eight starts...most dramatic moment of season for him came when he hit his first and only 3-pointer of season at North Texas (2/24) with 4.8 seconds left from the top of the key to cap an 11-1 UNO run over the final minute and give UNO a brief lead over the Mean Green, before the Privateers fell with no time left on the clock on a pair of free throws...tallied seven points and added four rebounds and two assists against Florida International (2/21)...after making six straight starts, he came off the bench at New Mexico State and hit season-best 6-of-8 free throws en route to an eight point night along with eight rebounds...tallied six points and seven rebounds against North Texas (1/27)...contributed in a win at Middle Tennessee (1/22) with four straight clutch free throws late in the contest and took a big charge......tallied only double-double of the season with 12 points and 10 rebounds in a starting assignment against Western Kentucky (1/20)...played over 30 minutes in back-to-back contests against VMI (12/28) and Southern Miss (12/30)...got back-to-back 9 point outings in those two games...enjoyed seven rebound performance against VMI...added an assist and a block in the contest...enjoyed fine outing against Fairleigh Dickinson (11/18) off the bench with four points, five rebounds and a pair of steals...hit all four free throw attempts against Houston...sank both shots and added a rebound and his first assist of the season against IUPUI (12/22)...the Privateers were 3-0 in the three games he played at least 30 minutes.
oJunior College: Played last season at Highline Community College where he averaged 7.7 points and 4.6 rebounds per contest ... added a team-high 25 blocks for the Thunderbirds to go along with 44.8 percent of his shots from the floor and 75 percent from the free throw line.
oHigh School: Attended Bellarmine Prep where he played basketball for four seasons ... a second team all-narrows selection in both 2002 and 2003.
