Attended Scotlandville HS in Baton Rouge ... four year letterman in track and field ... personal bests in high school include ... a 6.98 indoor 60M in 2022 ... a 10.70 outdoor 100M in 2022 ...a 21.94 outdoor 200M in 2022 ... a 50.52 outdoor 400M in 2021 ... a 52.08 indoor 400M in 2023 ... part of 12 meet winning relay squads during his time as a Hornet ... won three individual races during high school.

Also participated in the high jump in high school with an outdoor personal best of 1.93 meters outdoors and a 1.94 meters indoors ... won two meets in the high jump as a senior.
