Primarily playing No. 2, Escobar went 11-12 on the season and 8-9 during dual play...Posted a 5-7 mark at No. 2 and went 3-2 when playing in the top spot...Wins at No. 1 came against Alcorn State (2/4), Jackson State (3/7) and West Virginia (3/18)...Top wins at No. 2 were a three-set victory against Louisiana-Lafayette (1/31) and wins against Illinois State (3/10) and West Florida (3/18)...In tournament play, reached semifinals at ULM Warhawk Classic, falling to Bianca Schulz of Northwestern State (11/2)...Teamed with Kozue Matsumoto to go 15-6 on the year and 11-5 in dual play at the No. 1 position...Record included a 4-1 mark in tournament play and a 10-match win streak, which was snapped with three straight losses to end the season, starting with loss against Southeastern Louisiana (3/23)...Tandem started season with loss to North Texas (1/17) before bouncing back with win against Tulane (1/22)...Other wins of note came against Louisiana-Lafayette (1/31), Northwestern State (2/8), Arkansas State (3/7), Austin Peay (3/8), Illinois State (3/10), Northern Iowa (3/17) and West Virginia (3/18)...Won lone match at No. 1 with Amber Garza in the absence of Matsumoto, defeating Jackson State (3/7).
