She was also a performance intern with Athletes' Performance in 2013, the head coach of the Spirit Volleyball Club 14s for the 2011-12 season and worked the Cleveland State Volleyball Camp from 2008-12.

After completing her degree, Grabiec moved on to the University of Louisiana at Monroe for the 2012-13 academic year where she was a member of the Warhawks' inaugural sand volleyball program. That year, ULM posted a 7-4 regular-season mark and earned a spot in the AVCA Collegiate National Championship. Primarily playing with the No. 2 pairs team, Grabiec tallied a 12-12 overall record and participated in the AVCA Championship pairs tournament.

As an undergrad, Grabiec starred from 2008-11 at Cleveland State where she posted 1,481 digs, 155 assists, 99 service aces and 10 digs in 425 sets of work with the Vikings. A four-year prep letterwinner at St. Joseph's Academy, Grabiec was a two-time all-district selection. As a senior, she claimed first-team all-district honor while setting school records with 516 digs and 47 aces, and also holds single-match records of 45 digs and eight aces.
