Andrea Nava begins her first season as indoor volleyball assistant coach at the University of New Orleans. Nava officially joined the program in July 2020 after finishing a successful career as a student-athlete.
Nava finished her career with 1,349 digs, which put her in third in program history. A four-year letter winner, Nava finished seventh in the Southland in digs during her senior season. Her 4.29 digs per set was the sixth highest single season total in program history.
A native of Baytown, Texas, Nava finished in the top ten in the Southland in digs over each of her last two seasons. She also had a 40-dig performance against UIW as a junior and set a new program record for most digs in a five-set match.

Nava had seven matches with 20 or more digs in her senior campaign. She also added 25 service aces for a squad that won nine home matches in 2019.

Nava finished her degree in the Spring of 2020 in Health Care Management.Â
