Junior, Rui Silva is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Silva helped vault the Privateers men's tennis team to dual wins over Jackson State and Alcorn State on Friday and Saturday. Silva won both of his singles matches in straight sets.

On Friday, Silva defeated Ryan Swazier of Jackson State 6-3, 6-0. He followed that up with a 6-4, 6-3 victory over Ernesto Santilian of Alcorn State on the No. 1 court on Saturday. Silva also paired with teammate, Chrristoffer Appelgren to win both doubles matches on the weekend.
