Dakota Dean is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Dean extended his hitting streak to eight games after collecting a hit in all five games last week while helping the Privateers baseball squad to a 4-1 record. Dean went 9-for-19 over the week.

Against Southern, Dean drove in three and collected three hits. Dean followed that up with another three-RBI performance against 27th-ranked Tulane. Dean went 4-for-10 at the plate in three games against Sam Houston State.
