Laila Hansen made the most of her debut with the University of New Orleans.

The freshman outside hitter from Chugiak, Alaska accumulated 46 kills for a team-best 3.54 kill per set average during the Millsaps Invitational this past weekend.

Over four matches, Hansen ranked second on the squad with four service aces while also rankings fourth on the team with 32 digs for a 2.46 dig per set average.

The top match on the weekend for Hansen was a double-double performance in a 3-1 to Martin Methodist. The outside hitter posted a career-high in kills (17), service aces (2) and digs (10).
