Junior forward, Melissa Jensen is this week's UNOrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Jensen averaged 9.5 points per game in the New Orleans Privateers women's basketball team's weekend road trip at Jackson State and Murray State. Jensen also recorded her first double-double by scoring 13 points and pulling down 10 rebounds against Murray State while playing a season high 32 minutes.

After missing the Privateers' first two due to a knee injury suffered in the second game of the 2012-13 season, Jensen has come back to average 5.0 points and 3.4 rebounds per game.
