THE GAME:
The New Orleans men's basketball team looks for its third straight win this Monday, March 2, at 7 p.m. CT as the Privateers welcome in in-state and Southland Conference rival Nicholls.
 
New Orleans is coming off of a big 20-point win over Abilene Christian and looks to avenge an early season loss to the Colonels.

LAST TIME OUT:
The New Orleans Privateers men's basketball team claimed a wire-to-wire win over Abilene Christian on Saturday night, bringing home the senior night victory, 75-55, with another nine-three-pointer affair. New Orleans picks up its second consecutive victory with the 20-point win, improving its record to 9-15 on the year and 5-10 in the conference.
 
NEXT UP:
New Orleans makes its regular season home finale on Thursday, March 5, at 7:45 p.m. CT with a meeting against cross-town foe Southeastern Louisiana.
 
NEWS AND NOTES:
Home Sweet Home
New Orleans returns home to the friendly confines for the next three games, matching the longest home stand of the season. The Privateers hold a 7-3 record this year at the Lakefront Arena.

Three-Point Play
In back-to-back wins for the Privateers New Orleans has sunk nine three-pointers in each of the two victories.
 
Three Players in Double-Figures
As a team the Privateers now have three players averaging double-figure point totals including Christavious Gill (12.3), Kevin Hill (11.1) and Kevin Brown (10.7).
 
Scoring Leader
With 14 straight double-figure scoring games out of his last 16 outings, sophomore Christavious Gill has remained the team's leading scorer, averaging 12.3 points per outing, giving Gill one point for nearly every two minutes of time on the court. Gill has put together an impressive offensive run of New Orleans, scoring in double-figures in 22 out of the last 26 games for the Privateers dating back to last season.
 
Broyles vs. the Lions
In the team's last outing against Southeastern it was Tevin Broyles that came up big, hitting a layup to win it for the Privateers in the final seconds, 74-73, on the road.

In the Paint
The Privateers have been tough to face in the paint during the 2014-15 season, outscoring their opponents by a 766-716 margin under the basket thus far. New Orleans has picked up solid play from the bench this season as well, earning 24.1 points per game compared to just 20.1 from its opponents.
