• The brief two-game road trip in the Lone Star State begins with the Power-5 Bears and concludes at Abilene Christian, a team earning votes in the Collegiate Mid-Major Poll.
• Saturday's game marks the sixth state UNO has played in this season. Later in the Southland Conference schedule, the Privateers head to Conway, Arkansas.
• Entering the week, New Orleans ranks third in the nation in steals per game (11.0), fourth in turnovers forced (19.7) and ninth in assists per game (18.5).
• The Privateers lead all Southland schools in assists and steals.

Scott Plaisance Jr. average double figures with 11.2 points and 10.0, respectively. Charles ranks second in the league in three-point shooting at 42.9 percent.

ABOUT THE PRIVATEERS
The Privateers head to the Lone Star State for a two-game road trip, beginning at Baylor on Saturday. New Orleans returns to the hardwood for the final nonconference game at 5 p.m. in Waco.
In the top 10 nationally in three categories, UNO has six games with 10-plus steals. The defense has forced 15-plus turnovers seven times and 20 or more on four occasions.
ABOUT THE BEARS
Baylor features three double-digit scorers led by the nation's top shooter in Tristan Clark. Clark is averaging 14.0 points on 76.8 percent shooting. He also ranks in top 25 nationally in blocks with 2.55 swats. Mark Vital picks up 3.73 offensive rebounds per contest, good for 14th.
Baylor is coming off a 10-point victory over Oregon on ESPN2 Dec. 21. The homestand began with a one-point loss to Southland Conference member Stephen F. Austin.

The Privateers will be visiting their fifth and playing in their sixth state before Southland play begins. UNO is searching for its first true road win since February 10 at Texas A&M-Corpus Christi when the Privateers defeated the Islanders 62-53.
