NEW ORLEANS – University of New Orleans head men's basketball coach
Mark Slessinger unveiled the Privateers' 2018-19 non-conference schedule.
UNO's schedule includes six home games at Lakefront Arena, the 35
th season in the arena. The home slate begins versus Spring Hill College November 6 at 7:45 p.m. as part of a doubleheader. The season opener features blue t-shirts/magnets giveaway.
Highlighting the home slate are return contests versus the University of Louisiana at Lafayette (Nov. 28 at 7 p.m.) and the University of South Alabama (Dec. 5 at 7 p.m.). On December 18, the Privateers host Williams Baptist College at the Alario Center in Westwego.
The away schedule is highlighted by visits to the renovated Welsh-Ryan Arena (Northwestern University Nov. 8), UAB (Nov. 14), University of Tulsa (Dec. 13), University of Pittsburgh (Dec. 20) and Baylor University (Dec. 29).
Following the season opener versus the Badgers, the Privateers head to Illinois for a clash at Northwestern before returning home for Pensacola Christian College Nov. 12.
Two days later, UNO heads to Bartow Arena for the second consecutive season to face UAB. A three-game homestand - Governors State, Louisiana-Lafayette and South Alabama.
Following the December 5
th battle with the Jaguars, the Silver and Blue tussle with the Hurricanes at the Reynolds Center Dec. 13.
The Alario Center will be the site for the Privateers/Williams Baptist December 18.

Game times and television arrangements will be announced prior to the season and are subject to change. All home games will be streamed with
Jude Young on the call. Ticket information will be announced later this summer.
