BATON ROUGE, La. – The Privateers led early in the opening half but #RV LSU (6-2) dominated the second stanza to defeat New Orleans (3-5) 90-54 Tuesday evening at the Pete Maravich Assembly Center.

FIRST HALF
Bryson Robinson's third three-pointer of the half gave New Orleans its largest lead of the game – 24-18 – with 7:00 remaining in the opening stanza. It was officially a 12-4 UNO run.
LSU closed the half on a 13-2 run to head into the locker room with a 38-30 lead. Robinson led the Privateers with 11 points on 4-of-8 shooting, including three triples, and
Jaylen Key added eight points and six rebounds. Emmitt Williams led the Tigers with 14 points and nine rebounds.
New Orleans led for 8:22 to LSU's 8:04.
SECOND HALF
LSU extended its lead to 18 before six unanswered points by the Privateers cut into the Tiger lead (10:42).
The Tigers won their 14
th consecutive nonconference home contest, 90-54.
NOTES: Tonight was the 10
th consecutive double-digit game for Robinson dating back to last season… he has 36 as a Privateer after the 18-point performance Tuesday… Robinson added five assists… Key posted his third consecutive double-digit scoring game with 13 points and seven rebounds…
Troy Green reached double figures for the 25
th time in his career and finished with 10 points and seven rebounds… the 90 points were the most UNO has allowed since the CIT game last season.

The Privateers return to Lakefront Arena December 14 to host Williams Baptist in the final game before the Southland Conference opener December 18 vs. Abilene Christian. Tip-off on 12.14 is scheduled for 6 p.m.
