But Yale (3-4) took the night cap 8-6 Saturday night at Maestri Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
GAME 1
The Privateers rallied back from a six-run deficit in the eighth inning and walked off with a victory in the tenth.

Yale starter, Kumar Nambiar pitched six shutout innings, but the Privateer lineup went to work on the Bulldogs pen. Salo Iza led off the frame with a double, the first of five hits in the inning. The bases were loaded up for Collin Morrill who drilled a triple into the gap to slice the lead in half.

The Privateers batted around in the inning and sent 11 to the plate. Wade Raburn drove in a run on a single and Iza leveled the score with his third hit of the game. The Privateers held the score level after Mathew Oset pitched a scoreless ninth. Reeves Martin followed by throwing up a zero in the tenth.

Gaige Howard singled through the right side to start the tenth. After he advanced to second on a wild pitch, Howard was pinch run for by Evan Francioni. An intentional walk and a hit-by-pitch loaded the bases for Iza. The junior second baseman was hit in the back by a pitch to drive in the winning run in the comeback.

GAME 2
