Box Score MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. - Minnesota built a lead late in the opening half to propel them to a 97-64 decision over the New Orleans Privateers (3-4) at Williams Arena. New Orleans is now 0-2 all-time against Minnesota.
The Privateers rallied with the Gophers, staying within a possession until the home team pulled away to close out the half 52-30. With five players in double-figures, the Gophers shot 59.4% from the field.
Khaleb Wilson-Rouse led the Privateers with 19 points, three steals, and two assists on 6-of-11 from the field and a perfect 6-of-6 showing from the foul line. Behind Wilson-Rouse, Johnson put up 17 points, six rebounds, three assists, and one steal on 6-of-20 shooting and 5-of-5 at the foul line.
NEXT UP: The Privateers return to Lakefront Arena to host Belhaven Tuesday, December 5, 2023, before a two-game west coast swing. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m.
