2007: One of three catchers for the Privateers and saw limited time...Appeared in five games, starting two, and hit two hits in 10 at-bats...Had two-run single despite loss vs. New Mexico State on Feb. 18.

HIGH SCHOOL: All-District during all four years at Salmen High School...Was also an Academic All-State pick and was an honor graduate...Played two years of football as well.

PERSONAL: Born on Feb. 12, 1988...Son of Eric and Diane Nolting...Has an older brother, Eric, and two younger sisters: Amy and Valerie...Majoring in Business Administration and Nursing...Uncle played football at LSU.
