High School: Three-year prep letterwinner, playing as a sophomore at Terrebonne High for coach Derek Szush before transferring to Brother Martin High and coach Christopher Biehl his final two prep seasons…helped lead his teams to a combined 55-37 overall record, a 17-18 mark in district play and a pair of trips to the state playoffs, including a 23-9 showing with a berth in the regional semifinals as a senior…claimed all-district recognition each season, garnering honorable-mention All-District 7-5A distinction as a sophomore and first-team All-District 9-5A as a junior and senior…named first-team All-Catholic League and to the Clarion Herald Elite Team as a senior after tallying 454 points (14.2 ppg), 227 rebounds (7.1 rpg) and 99 assists (3.1 apg)…that year, earned all-tournament honors at the CYO Tournament, Sunkist Shootout and Newman Invitational that year…named The New Orleans Advocate’s Player of the Week on Jan. 13, 2015, after averaging 13.0 points and 8.3 rebounds per game en route to earning MVP of the Crusaders Invitational…claimed the team’s Captains Award and voted BMHS MVP, and was selected to participate in the 2015 Louisiana High School Coaches Association All-Star Game…as a junior, logged 257 points (8.0 ppg), 151 rebounds (4.7 rpg) and 90 assists (2.8 apg)…played club for Greg Monroe ASSISTS in 2015 and was named “Best of the Rest” at the 2014 Scouts Focus Elite 80 Camp.
