SOPHOMORE SEASON (2008-09)
Became the second female swimmer in school history to receive SBC Swimmer of the Week twice in a season, earning the honor on 10/5 and 11/5...The honor in October came after winning three individual events against Incarnate Word (10/5) while the November recognition came after she set the 400 IM record against Western Kentucky and the University of the Cumberlands (11/1)...Placed 7th in the 200 IM at the SBC championships with a final time of 2:07.34, after qualifying for the finals in a time of 2:05.17, which broke her previous school record...Member of Privateer 400 medley relay team that placed third at the conference meet...Holds school-record in 400 IM (4:30.81) set at the SBC meet (2/20)...Also, member of 200 Medley school-record team, which swam a time of 1:43.41 to claim the record at the conference meet (2/19)...Other top performances include a 2:08.13 in the 200 fly against Delta State (1/24) that ranked second on the season and third all-time and a 1:07.23 in the 100 breast, also ranking second on the season and third all-time...Had season-best time of 2:23.09 in the 200 breast at the SBC meet (2/21), the fastest time since Shannon McIntyre's school record-breaking 2:21.16 in 1985...Ranked third on the season and fourth all-time in the 500 free, touching the wall in 5:12.84 against Delta State (11/22)...Won the 200 fly (2:09.59) and 200 IM (2:10.42) against Southern Illinois (10/31) on pace to her seventh and eighth wins in her first nine events of the season...Won three events - the 100 breast (1:07.48), 200 IM (2:09.73) and 500 free (5:12.84) - against Delta State (11/22)...Finished second in the 50 breast at the Bob Mowerson Sprint Meet (1/6)...Claimed two wins against DSU (1/24), winning the the 50 free (24.87) and 100 free (53.77).

Member of the Peruvian National Swim Team...South American Champion (200 Fly)...New Jersey State Record Holder (200 Medley Relay)...specializes in 100 breast, 100 fly, 200 fly, 200 IM, 400 IM and 100 free...Named Saint Joseph of the Palisades Rookie of the Year in 2005 and Best Female Athlete in 2005.
