Senior forward, Cory Dixon is this week's UNOPrivateers.com Student-Athlete of the Week.

Dixon notched his sixth double-double with 12 points and 14 rebounds, while helping the Privateers to their first Southland Conference victory over Abilene Christian on Thursday, Jan. 9. Dixon has scored in double figures in 10 of 12 games this season.

Heading into this weekend's conference slate vs. Lamar and Sam Houston State, Dixon is leading the Southland in rebounding with 8.9 boards per game. He is also the only Southland player who currently averages a double-double in conference play (16 points and 12 rebounds per contest).
