Tyler Sanders put together two strong performances on the mound, allowing UNO to remain in the game against LSU on May 17 before coming back on three day's rest to lead the Privateers to a win over Smoke Laval's North Florida squad.

In the game against LSU, Sanders allowed just six hits over seven innings while yielding just two runs - one earned. Sanders baffled the Tigers' hitters, striking out five.

Four days later, Sanders took the mound on Senior Day and scattered six hits over eight innings, allowing two runs - one earned. UNF struggled to get in a groove against the right-handed pitcher, striking out nine times before Sanders handed the ball over to closer COby Landry.

For the week, Sanders posted a 1.20 ERA while pitching 15 innings and allowing four runs - two earned - on 12 hits. The Slidell, La. native struck out 14 and walked 14 as opposing batters hit .211 against him.
