Box Score PENSACOLA, Fla. - The University of New Orleans men's basketball team completed an eight-game improvement from last season with a 64-62 victory over Pensacola Christian in the team's season finale on Tuesday night.
K.C. Ross-Miller scored 20 points, including 17 in the second half as UNO rallied from a five-point halftime deficit to finish the 2010-11 campaign with a 16-6 mark.
Zach Kinsley added 16 points with
Antonio Wertz chipping in 11 for the Privateers.
PCC fell to 15-13 with the loss. Brooks Lindblad led the way for the Eagles with 20 points.
UNO trailed 30-25 at the half as the hosts committed just one turnover in the game's opening 20 minutes and received 12 points from Lindblad.
In the second half, the Privateers picked up their shooting. After hitting their shots at a 39.1 percent clip in the first half, UNO connected on 10 of 21 shots for 47.6 percent over the last 20 minutes.
The Privateers will head into the off-season with seniors
Jaroslav Tyrna and
Ryan Kinsley having completed their eligibility with Tuesday night's contest.
