Individually USD is led by Johnny Dee, who comes into Saturday night's contest as one of the post prolific scorers in the nation, putting in 20.8 points per game.

LAST TIME OUT:The New Orleans men's basketball team rallied behind a strong offensive team performance on Saturday night, propelling the Privateers to a 100-85 win over Crowley's Ridge College in the Lakefront Arena. New Orleans remains undefeated on its home floor after the victory, improving its record to 2-3 on the year while scoring 100 points for the first time since the 2013 season.
NEXT UP:The Privateers remain on the road for two more following the game at San Diego, taking on Southern Illinois on Dec. 19 before making their way to Indiana on Dec. 22.

Weisbrod Tops in the NationColton Weisbrod now leads the nation in terms of field goal percentage, shooting at a 74.4 percent clip. The freshman has hit on 29 of his 39 attempts from the floor.
Gill Leading the WayAfter last week's win over Crowley's Ridge, sophomore
Christavious Gill took over the team lead in scoring with a 13.6 points per game mark. Gill put in 18 points for New Orleans during the win.
Privateers Shooting WellHead coach
Mark Slessinger's team has quickly become one of the top shooting teams in the Southland Conference, ranking top three in the league in both field goal percentage (.476) and three-point field goal percentage (.367).
Clean Brand of BasketballBall control has also been a theme for the Privateers early on, committing the 17th fewest fouls in the nation at 105 total and the 22nd fewest turnovers at 78.
Offensive ProductionNow putting in 77 points per game, New Orleans comes in at No. 50 in the country in offensive production.
Thibodeaux on the BlockTravin Thibodeaux has been a force in the paint, leading the team in blocks with his seven. Thibodeaux has had at least one block in each of the team's first five games.
