The Hoosiers of the Big 10 Conference are holding steady early on in the season, holding a 9-2 record. Indiana, under seventh year head coach Tom Crean, has a pair of wins over top 25 teams in SMU and Butler, which came during the team's last outing this past Friday.

Nate Frye, the New Orleans men's basketball team overcame an 11-point second-half gap to take a 56-52 road win over Southern Illinois in thrilling fashion on Friday night.
Kevin Hill led the way with his eight points and eight rebounds during the win.
NEXT UP:The Privateers return home to the Lakefront Arena on Dec. 30 as New Orleans plays host to Central Baptist before kicking off Southland Conference play against Lamar.

Weisbrod Tops in the NationColton Weisbrod leads the nation in terms of field goal percentage for the second straight week, shooting at a 72 percent clip. The freshman has hit on 36 of his 50 attempts from the floor.
Getting to the LineThe Privateers have gotten to the foul line often this season, taking 200 free throws. New Orleans took a 2014-15 Southland Conference high of 48 attempts during a season-opening win against Pensacola Christian College and was a perfect 14-of-14 during the team's win at Southern Illinois.
Homecoming for SlessingerHead coach
Mark Slessinger will be making the homecoming trip at Indiana. The Bloomington, Ind., native will lead the Privateers in their first ever trip to Assembly hall.
