THE GAME:The New Orleans men's basketball team makes its return to the friendly confines of the Lakefront Arena this Saturday, December 6, at 6:15 p.m. CT to take on the Pioneers of Crowley's Ridge.
The Privateers sit at 1-3 but remain undefeated at home while the Pioneers of the NCCAA arrive at 6-2.
Halftime of the game will feature an exhibition contest between St. Angela Merici and St. Phillip's middle schools while New Orleans students are also encouraged to attend to participate in the South vs. North Pontchartrain Dorm attendance contest.

Crowley's Ridge College of the NCCAA arrives at the Lakefront Arena at 6-2 on the young season. The Pioneers bring in a pair of 20-point per game scorers in Quinn Cooper and Roy Marshall, leading a Crowley's Ridge offense that is averaging 84.8 points per contest.

LAST TIME OUT:The New Orleans Privateers men's basketball team (1-3) fell behind by as many as 24 points in the second half and could not rally in a 79-60 loss to the Denver Pioneers (3-2) on Sunday afternoon at the Magness Arena.
Colton Weisbrod had another strong game off the bench, leading the team with 17 points on 8-of-11 shooting while adding five rebounds.
NEXT UP:The Privateers are back on the road for three straight following Saturday's contest starting on Saturday, Dec. 12 in a 9:30 p.m. CT showdown at San Diego.
NEWS AND NOTES:Brown on the OffensiveKevin Brown continues to pace the offense for the Privateers, leading the squad with 14.8 points per game, putting him at No. 10 in the Southland Conference in the scoring category.
Home Court AdvantageNew Orleans looks to remain undefeated on its home floor during the early portions of the season, holding a 1-0 record after a season-opening defeat of Pensacola Christian College.

Mark Slessinger's team has quickly become one of the top shooting teams in the Southland Conference, ranking top three in the league in both field goal percentage (.448) and three-point field goal percentage (.383).
Clean Brand of BasketballBall control has also been a theme for the Privateers early on, committing the eighth fewest fouls in the nation at 82 total and the 20th fewest turnovers at 63.
On the Road AgainThe Privateers are coming off a grueling road schedule that took the team to TCU, Texas A&M and Denver. After the brief layover on Saturday at home, New Orleans heads to San Diego, Southern Illinois and Indiana before returning home to take on Central Baptist on Dec. 30.
