THE GAME:The New Orleans men's basketball team returns home to the Lakefront Arena for three straight games, starting this Saturday, Feb. 28, as the Privateers host Abilene Christian at 6:15 p.m. CT.
The Privateers will recognize their two seniors,
Kevin Brown and
Terrance Syon, during the Saturday night contest.

The Wildcats arrive in New Orleans looking to snap an 11-game losing skid that dates back to Jan. 17. Harrison Hawkins leads the squad with his 13.1 points per game while Parker Wents is putting in the minutes on the floor, totaling up 780 minutes of action this season for head coach Joe Golding.

LAST TIME OUT:With a season-high nine three-pointers on Monday night the New Orleans men's basketball team took home a 74-73 road win over in-state rival Southeastern Louisiana in Southland Conference competition. The win keeps the Privateers undefeated all-time against the Lions, now at 10-0 in the series, while improving New Orleans to 8-15 on the year and 4-10 in league play.
NEXT UP:New Orleans takes a quick turnaround on Monday, March 2, as the Privateers play host to Nicholls State in the final week of the regular season.

Christavious Gill (12.5),
Kevin Hill (11.1) and
Kevin Brown (10.3).
Scoring LeaderWith 14 straight double-figure scoring games out of his last 15 outings, sophomore
Christavious Gill has remained the team's leading scorer, averaging 12.5 points per outing, giving Gill one point for nearly every two minutes of time on the court. Gill has put together an impressive offensive run of New Orleans, scoring in double-figures in 22 out of the last 25 games for the Privateers dating back to last season.
Broyles vs. the LionsIn the team's last outing against Southeastern it was
Tevin Broyles that came up big, hitting a layup to win it for the Privateers in the final seconds, 74-73, on the road.
Three PointersDuring the big win over Southeastern New Orleans was good for a season-high nine three pointers.
In the PaintThe Privateers have been tough to face in the paint during the 2014-15 season, outscoring their opponents by a 736-694 margin under the basket thus far. New Orleans has picked up solid play from the bench this season as well, earning 24.1 points per game compared to just 20.1 from its opponents.
Against the WildcatsThe Privateers took the lone meeting between the two schools in the series history last season when New Orleans took an 87-81 win over the Wildcats at home.
