GAME 5: Three-Game Week Concludes at South Alabama

Privateers shot 53.7 percent from the field in the win Friday

MOBILE, Ala. – Coming off the first win of the season Friday, the University of New Orleans (1-3) closes the busy week at Mitchell Center, resuming the rivalry with the University of South Alabama (3-3) Sunday at 3:05 p.m.
 
The matchup will be the first since 2010 between the former conference foes.

CAREER START FOR BROB
Sophomore guard Bryson Robinson continues to set new career marks early on this season. The Mesquite, Texas native is coming off a nine-point performance in 22 minutes of action in the win versus Spring Hill Friday. In game two this season, he dished out three assists at #RV/RV Oakland.
 
TG COMING UP CLUTCH
Freshman Troy Green connected on 9-of-10 free throws in Friday's win versus the Badgers. The St. Rose, La. native added three steals and four assists off the bench.
 
DOUBLE DIGIT MARKS
Makur Puou reached double figures for the third consecutive time. His five free throws Friday tied his career best, a mark he set November 25, 2016 against Florida College. This season, he has tied two other career marks – rebounds (nine at Memphis) and assists (three at Oakland).
 
Travin Thibodeaux's five dimes Friday is a new season-high for the senior big. Thibs added a team-high 13 points – seven coming from the charity stripe. The seven free throws tied his career-high at Sam Houston State January 9, 2016. The 13 points marked the 25th double digit game in his four-year career at UNO.
 
Michael Zeno reached double figures for the 15th time in his four-year career with 12 points on 5-of-9 shooting Friday.
 
NEXT UP
New Orleans heads to the University of Houston November 29 before returning to Lakefront Arena to host Williams Baptist December 2.
