DALLAS – The University of New Orleans (2-5) returns to the hardwood Wednesday for its toughest contest to date as the Privateers take on #RV SMU (7-3) at 7 p.m. at Moody Coliseum. The game will be streamed on ESPN3 and WatchESPN.
The Privateers look to put an end to #MoodyMagic as SMU is perfect at home under third-year head coach Tim Jankovich (31-0).
It will be a battle of 2017 NCAA Tournament programs as New Orleans won the Southland Conference championship and SMU took the American Athletic Conference crown.

Travin Thibodeaux scored 19 points at Houston and swatted away a career-high five shots in the win versus the Eagles.

Green is coming off back-to-back six-assist performances as the freshman point guard is settling in comfortably into his role as the facilitator. The St. Rose native is averaging 9.1 points on 52.4 percent shooting, 3.6 rebounds and 3.3 assists.

Champion continued to provide energy for UNO and picked up a game and career-high 10 rebounds in the 87-70 win over Williams Baptist December 2. Puou tied his career mark of nine rebounds and finished a board shy of a double-double with 10 points and
Ezekiel Charles went a perfect 3-of-3 from three-point range.
Damion Rosser poured in 17 points on 8-of-10 shooting and
Lamont Berzat added 11 points off the bench.
ABOUT THE MUSTANGS
Shake Milton paces the club with 18.6 points per game. The junior was picked as AAC Preseason Player of the Year and appears in numerous national lists – Bob Cousy PG of the Year Watch List, Lute Olson National Player of the Watch List, Wooden Award Preseason Top 50, Naismith Trophy Watch List and Preseason All-AAC First Team.
Since taking over the program, Jankovich is 46-8 and featured two players picked in the 2017 NBA Draft.
