GAME 3: Basketball Returns to Lakefront Arena to Host Pensacola Christian

NEW ORLEANS – The Privateers begin week two of the 2018-19 campaign at home, welcoming Pensacola Christian College (1-4) to Lakefront Arena Monday at 7 p.m.
 
Following the game, the University of New Orleans (1-1) completes a four-game-in-nine-day stretch at Bartow Arena Wednesday (versus UAB).

THE TIP
• The Privateers are 22-6 since the start of the 2016-17 season at home.
Gerrale Gates has reached double figures in his first two collegiate games. The forward is averaging 10.5 points and 6.0 rebounds.
• Every UNO student-athlete has appeared in a game this season.
Ezekiel Charles has 54 three pointers in a season and two games on the Lakefront.
• Following Monday's game, New Orleans heads to Birmingham for the second consecutive season. UAB will host the Privateers Wednesday at 7 p.m.
• "I was pleased with our effort and the way we ended the first half," said head coach Mark Slessinger on the game at Northwestern.
• UNO has never lost to Pensacola Christian (4-0).
• Following Wednesday's game at UAB, the Privateers return to Lakefront Arena for three consecutive home games, including Load the Lakefront November 28 at 7 p.m. versus Louisiana-Lafayette.
• Since the start of 2016-17, the Privateers are 14-12 following a loss.
• With tonight's game, Mark Slessinger ties Ron Greene for most games at the helm of the men's basketball program (211).
 
THE SERIES
The Privateers are 4-0 versus Pensacola Christian and 3-0 when hosting the Eagles.
