NEW ORLEANS – The Privateers return to Lakefront Arena for the first doubleheader of the 2019-20 campaign Saturday, December 14. New Orleans women's basketball (2-5) hosts Tougaloo at 4 p.m. and the men (3-5) welcome Williams Baptist at 6 p.m. Saturday is Holiday Hoops at Lakefront Arena with a Tacky Sweater Competition. Bring a toy and you can purchase a ticket for $5. All toys will be donated to the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Louisiana.
MEN'S BASKETBALL
The Privateers are 3-0 at Lakefront Arena this weekend.
Bryson Robinson leads the club with 14.6 points per game and has reached double figures in all eight games this season.
Troy Green is posting 11.8 points, 3.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
The Privateers are 4-0 against Williams Baptist and 3-0. Last season, New Orleans defeated the Eagles 90-62 at the Alario Center.
WOMEN'S BASKETBALL
The Privateers women's basketball team returns to the Lakefront Arena for the first time in over three weeks as the program hosts Tougaloo on Saturday at December 14 at 4 PM CST.
New Orleans enters the contest 1-1 on the home and 2-5 overall as the team.
