NEW ORLEANS – Week Two of #100Meetings100Days is in the books and University of New Orleans director of athletics Tim Duncan continued to meet with UNO alums, media and prominent executives in the Greater New Orleans area.

Meeting 8 – Oliver Thomas

Duncan began the week on morning radio with Oliver Thomas of WBOK. Live on the Good Morning Show, Duncan spoke about his vision for UNO Athletics.

Meeting 9 – Skip Miller

A 1971 graduate of UNO, Miller is an athletics gratis employee. Known for his support of Privateer Athletics, Miller and Duncan spoke about developing a specific message to express the Privateer Club's needs.

Meeting 10 – Jeff Duncan
One of the nationally-known sports columnist in the Greater New Orleans area, Jeff Duncan of NOLA.com/The Times-Picayune chatted with AD Tim Duncan at the iconic Russell's Short Stop Po Boys about the media community in New Orleans and ways to create more attention for the Privateers.

Meeting 11 – Arnie Fielkow
Currently the executive vice president of business operations and CEO, Arnie Fielkow was an executive VP for the Saints, a City Council member and president of the National Basketball Retired Players Association for the NBA and WNBA. Duncan and Fielkow spoke about his experience in the New Orleans market and the history of UNO Athletics.

Meeting 12 – Ochsner Sports Medicine Institute
Meeting with Scott Saylor, manager of clinical operations, Jordan Blough, athletic training outreach program supervisor and former UNO athletic trainer, and Mike Bouche, sports medicine and orthopedics business development, Duncan and the Ochsner Sports Medicine Institute team discussed the rich partnership with the leading sports medicine provider in the area.
