NEW ORLEANS - The New Orleans men's basketball program is taking the short trip to Lafayette to take on the Ragin' Cajuns in the second game of a home-and-home series, set to tipoff on Tuesday at 6 PM CT at the Cajundome. The contest will be streamed nationally on ESPN+ and live audio of the call can be heard across the country on the NASH ICON 106.1 FM platform.

The game is the second straight nationally streamed contest for the Privateers (and second of the next five in total) as the
showdown with Louisiana will be available on ESPN+.

Senior guard
Troy Green was named the Southland Conference and Louisiana Sports Writers Association (LSWA) Player of the Week after averaging 25.3 points, 8.0 rebounds, 2.3 assists and shot 62.8 percent from the field en route to a BSN Dolphin Classic All-Tournament selection. Green began the tournament with his first career double-double with 18 points and 12 rebounds in the win over Florida National. A day later, Green became the 24th Privateer to reach 1,000 points in his 100th game at UNO. He finished the contest with a career-high 32 points and sat for just 30 seconds. The 34 points were the most scored by a Privateer on the road since
Christavious Gill posted 38 at Northwestern State in 2016 and the most scored on a neutral site since
Bo McCalebb scored 36 points versus Arkansas State in the 2007 Sun Belt Tournament. He also went 20-of-24 from the charity stripe.
In his career, guard
Damion Rosser has averaged 11.0 points per game and has made 7-of-9 free throws against the Cajuns. Damion has also pulled down 7.3 rebounds and added 3.3 assists per game against Louisiana. He has posted double-doubles in his past two games against the Ragin' Cajuns: 13 points and 10 rebounds in 2018, and 18 points and10 rebounds earlier this season.
It is the first time since 2012-13 that the Privateers have faced a non-conference opponent twice in the same season.
